Helping organisations turn insight into clear strategy and creative direction that works in practice, not just on paper.
You're at the start or in the middle of a project where the thinking needs more. The brief is still forming, or the direction and creative idea need working through. You need someone who can step in, understand it quickly, and help figure things out alongside you. I join agency teams at different points, from research, strategy, or creative concept development.
You know something needs to change, but it's not always clear what. The brand feels unclear, teams are not aligned, or you're about to start something new and want to get it right. You need someone who can work alongside you, make sense of things, and bring an outside perspective. I work with teams to shape direction, support decisions, and stay close as the work moves from ideas into action.
Hi, I'm Nina.
Most of my work starts when a team knows they need to change but aren't sure how. Or they have a direction and need help shaping the strategy and planning the delivery. I'm often brought in to connect brand, audience, and business priorities, helping team leaders get clear, aligned, and move forward with confidence.
With 20+ years working in-house, agency side, and independently, I understand how organisations work, inside and out. I've partnered with teams across everything from small brands to large global ones, in sectors including healthcare, real estate, and renewable energy.
Alongside that, I co-founded an award-winning sustainable fashion brand shown at London Fashion Week, winning Young Entrepreneur of the Year for it. I also received a charity EVCOM award for a campaign film, and contributed to a Silver Fab and Gold Roses win awarded to a UK agency.
In 2017 I went independent, combining my in-house understanding of team workflows with agency methodology, and I apply this to every project I collaborate on.
B-corps are the way forward. Paint when I can. Still curious.
In Spain, we have a nice saying, in the blacksmith's house, wooden spoon. This is what was happening to us as a branding consultancy. We were struggling to identify our own essence and convey it in the right way, mainly due to a lack of internal priority as well as an external fresh point of view. So, we decided to collaborate with Nina on our own brand strategy project and website conceptualisation. Nina guided the process and workshops in a really nice and professional way. We felt really comfortable, enjoyed the journey, and, yes, we obtained the result we were looking for. Expectations more than fulfilled. I really recommend Nina as a brand consultant and project manager.
I realised that I needed outside help to bring both fresh perspective and the time needed to get things done. This is why we hired Nina. An independent, objective mind with time dedicated to shaping and achieving business goals, as well as taking a look at our brand and communications strategy. With her objectivity and knowledge of working client and agency side, Nina was able to work closely with the team to successfully refresh our brand, website and conceptualise marketing campaigns that started conversations with market-leading brands.
I would recommend Nina's expertise for organisations that need to define their purpose and direction, as well as create engaging and relevant content for bringing in new projects, highlighting successes and giving a clear vision for the future. She is flexible and agile in her approach to the work, able to draw in a range of views and put forth a clear picture of the opportunities and challenges presented. Nina has put in a lot of discretionary effort and her passion to create new and engaging materials has been a big support to the staff. She has worked tirelessly to draw in new audiences and build the platform for drawing in new income.
I could tell straight away that Nina is very experienced in the world of marketing. Nina is very easy to work with, and is great at generating ideas. When bringing others into the project, Nina communicated the aims of the project well, and the film contributors were put at ease.
I needed help to develop a strategy for an ambitious global fundraising project. With Nina's brand and business development workshop I was able to bring together curious minds from different industries to co-define the concept and brand strategy for a world relay — a relay that would unite the world through being active! Nina facilitated an energising range of exercises that enabled us to understand the wider context, define a clear vision, audiences, make decisions, and get creative! With Nina's help early on, we created the foundations of the strategy and brand concept for what has recently become One Run.
Whether it is fully formed or still early days.
